About the Long Island Industry Liaison Group
The LI-ILG provides opportunities for U.S. Government Contractors, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to interact in a non adversarial environment, to promote and support nondiscrimination, equal access and opportunity in the workplace. The LI-ILG provides Human Resources professionals and Employment Law experts a means of expanding their knowledge and expertise in this very complicated but critical business function.
The mission of the LI-ILG is to generate proactive programs that will further our member companies' affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity objectives as a liaison to regulatory agencies. LI-ILG also provides a forum for discussion and awareness of regulatory initiatives, for exchange and dissemination of information, and for training relative to affirmative action concepts, policies, and practices, and compliance and diversity issues within the Long Island business community.
Participation in the ILG process requires a belief in nondiscrimination and equal access and opportunity, and a commitment to finding mutually effective and beneficial compliance solutions.
